Community service

Community service plays an important role at Hasanuddin University, reflecting our commitment to a holistic educational experience. It is an integral aspect of our institution, encouraging engagement, social responsibility, and personal development among our students.

Our community service initiatives serve as a platform for students to apply their skills and knowledge outside the classroom, collaborating with local organizations and community members to address important social issues. This involvement allows students to develop important life skills, including leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

On this occasion we are introducing a community service program called Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) which means “Real Work College” or “Real Work Experience”. KKN is a mandatory community service program for undergraduate students. It is usually undertaken during the student’s final year of study and is designed to provide practical experience in a community or rural area.
