Makassar, 21 July 2023 – A public lecture with the theme “Foreign Policy of the Republic of Indonesia: ASEAN, Global Challenges, and the Role of Foreign Politics” was held at the Hasanuddin University Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Building on 21 July 2023. This public lecture held to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her Excellency Retno Marsudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, delivered opening remarks, followed by Bambang Suharto, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Penang, as the main speaker.
This public lecture shows the commitment of the Department of International Relations at Hasanuddin University to provide an in-depth understanding of Indonesian foreign policy and its role amidst global geopolitical dynamics. Prof. H. Darwis, MA, Ph.D., Professor of International Relations at Hasanuddin University led the discussion as moderator.
