
Makassar, 23 January 2026 — The Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Hasanuddin, welcomed a benchmarking visit from the International Relations Program of Bosowa University. The visit was received by the Head of the Department of International Relations at FISIP Unhas, Prof. Seniwati, along with lecturers from the department.
The benchmarking activity aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the management and development of International Relations study programs. During the meeting, both institutions engaged in constructive discussions on various aspects of academic development, including curriculum management, teaching and learning activities, as well as the strengthening of research and community engagement initiatives.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of improving the quality of higher education through institutional capacity building and collaboration between universities. Through an interactive dialogue, lecturers from both institutions shared best practices in academic program development and strategies to enhance the quality of graduates in the field of International Relations.
Beyond knowledge exchange, the visit also served as an opportunity to strengthen institutional ties between Universitas Hasanuddin and Bosowa University. Both parties expressed hope that the meeting would open wider opportunities for collaboration in the future, including joint academic activities, collaborative research, and student capacity development.
This visit also reinforces the cooperation previously established between the two universities through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which aims to support the development of human resources, academic innovation, and knowledge exchange between the institutions.
